Hello . I'm Carl.
I’m a product designer who likes getting close to the build. I help teams make sense of complex ideas & turn them into things people can actually use.
Sometimes that means designing the product. Sometimes it means prototyping or writing code. Usually, it’s a bit of everything.

Factory started as a way to share music with friends. Behind it was a bigger question: could a useful, lightweight product help people build a portable record of their taste?
I co-founded the company and led the product from the first idea through design, prototyping and implementation. We shipped across web, iOS and desktop, reaching around 3,000 users who catalogued more than 200,000 tracks.

Mamo began with a simple question: what would a payments product designed for life in the UAE actually look like?
I helped shape and design the original product at ConsenSys, working closely with the founding team across research, product strategy and interaction design.
The concept was later spun out as Mamo, which became the UAE’s first independent payments provider.
Zeroheight started as a tool for keeping design files in sync. Then Sketch began building much of that functionality directly into its product.
I worked with the founders to find a more durable direction: helping teams document, share and govern their design systems.
