2024-2025

Co-founded with a Grammy-winning musician to build data infrastructure for artists. Used music as a wedge to validate technical theses around privacy and data portability. Raised at $25m valuation.

Shipped multiple experiments including Factory.fm. Designed iOS and web clients, directed implementation, 3,000 users processing 200k+ tracks. Defined "stacking hypothesis" methodology: low-cost validation phases to test assumptions before committing.

Seeing the rise of AI-generated content and lack of personalisation, I recognised that a simple place to share taste, insight and preferences was a low-risk / high-signal way to kick-start a data-sharing network, with real user-value. We started by designing a web-app, before rapidly developing a native equivalent
