Owned product strategy and design direction for wallet surfaces across a privacy-focused mobile and desktop product.
2021-2022
Delivered one of the first transaction flows for dynamic fee markets, balancing usability with protocol constraints. Worked through the hard edges: ABI decoding for human-readable transactions, taxonomy for transaction functions, and network selection under L2 fragmentation. A lot of this problem space is now being navigated industry-wide under Clear Signing.
Senior Product Designer and Product Owner at Status. Privacy-focused wallet and messenger, native mobile and desktop, funded at scale. Owned product strategy and design direction for the wallet, the primary user surface, wrapping browser, chat, and communities.
Built the design system with engineers and designers. Initiated cross-industry working groups to establish UX standards across security-focused products.

Given that the wallet wrapped other sub-apps: browser, chat, and communities, a modular, design-system driven transaction format was required. It was quickly identified that decoding popular ABIs would be necessary in order to present easy-to-understand transactions to users. This involved creating a taxonomy for transaction functions, so that parameters could be adjusted in the user interface. This problem space, today, is being navigated under the Clear Signing initiative.

Identified that network selection and preference would be an issue with Layer 2 architecture, and created a solution which would allow users to signal their preferred networks and route assets automatically across chains.
